This was a hit. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and sticks to the walls great! Haven't tried the ceiling yet. I would recommend for any kid who would like this type of thing.
It was a 3-year-olds favorite Christmas gift. It is an amazing remote-control toy (Grandma wants one too).
This remote-control wall climbing gecko has been pure entertainment. It sticks well to walls and ceilings, and the movement is smooth enough to actually impress everyone the first time it crawls across the room. If you're wondering what the trick is... It's vacuum suction! It literally, actually sucks to the wall and works on textured walls to, at least it did on ours!
Charging has been easy and usually done in a couple of hours but most of the time we just plug it in overnight. It’s been played with repeatedly and hasn’t lost its novelty yet, which says a lot! Slightly ridiculous, very fun, and surprisingly well made... I'd totally order it again!
This wall climbing rechargeable gecko is definitely a toy that would keep kids occupied. It is fun and entertaining. The only thing that is not enjoyable is the noise of the fan. It's the function that allows it to stay 'suctioned' up against the wall and ceiling. The movement is designed to resemble a real live gecko and its eyes light up and then blink when it needs to be recharged. It is fairly lightweight, which is understandable due the features of climbing the walls and scaling the ceiling. With that being said, it seems pretty durable. So, it functions as it should, just has an added noise factor that may not be enjoyable for everyone. I still think it would make a great gift.
This is a super fun toy! The gecko is made of a very light plastic, it has to be light in order for the wall and ceiling climbing to work, and it works amazingly well. You start with charging the included rechargeable batteries. The controller needs two aaa batteries ( not included) then you are ready to climb. Make sure you have a smooth surface for the gecko to climb as that is how he works best. There's a switch on the bottom of the gecko to change modes. The gecko doesn't like carpet, so don't plan on running over carpeted floors. The noise level is not bad at all, not much more than any other rc vehicle. Its easy to use, for adult or child. It is extremely light weight, so durability is going to be questionable. But its cute. And fun!

It entertained the kids all night, so much fun!
Right out of the package it did need to be charged but it only took 30 min and lasted longer than the kids did.
The controller does require batteries but we haven’t had to replace them yet.
Kids ranging from 4 to 15 played with it so it’s great for just about any child.
It functioned exactly as described in the listing and I didn’t find it too loud.
This is a fun , cute, engaging toy! I’d absolutely purchase again!
This thing is awesome and it actually does what it claims. It uses a small vacuum system paired with very lightweight materials, which allows it to stick to walls and even the ceiling without falling. Watching it crawl around is genuinely impressive, and the kids were instantly obsessed with it.
The battery life is only a few minutes per charge, but that honestly feels expected for something doing this much work. It still works like a charm during that time and delivers a lot of fun in short bursts. This has been a huge hit and is easily one of the most entertaining toys we have added to the mix.
This wall-climbing gecko is such a cool idea. It works well on our painted walls and glass doors, and the remote is easy enough for my 5-year-old to use. It’s different from the usual RC cars and keeps kids interested longer.
